Minister of Finance and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ajit Anantrao Pawar has presented the state budget 2024-25 in June and made an announcement of Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana. The state Government has set the allocation budget of Rs. 5,500 Crore on the scheme for the unemployed youth of the state. The aim of the scheme is to enhance the employability and skill development of the youth and prepare them for a competitive job market. Under this scheme, the training to 10 lakh youths will be provided every year. The State Government will provide stipend of up to Rs. 10,000 per month under this scheme. Along with this, the scheme has been announced to train 50,000 youths every year to share Government scheme information. The internship will last six months and the stipend will be provided through Direct Bank Transfer.
