Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot has taken the initiative to introduce Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme to provide cashless health insurance coverage for the citizens of their state. As we know that medical emergencies are uncertain and might result in high cost and expenses, keeping an eye the government launched the scheme with the aim to provide affordable medical insurance and treatment plans to economically deprived areas. This scheme offers cashless medical insurance of up to Rs. 25 lakh. This health scheme is available for all the families of Rajasthan state. Expensive treatments like heart transplants, liver transplants, bone marrow transplants and cochlear implants were also included in the scheme. Along with this, women heads of families covered under this Health Insurance scheme will also be given smartphones with free internet connectivity for 3 years.
