About Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren has taken the initiative to launch Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana. The aim of the scheme is to promote the financial independence, self-reliance and overall women’s development. Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial assistance of up to Rs. 1,000 every month which is Rs. 12,000 annually. The application starts from 3 August and last date is 10 August 2024. The state government has set the allocation budget of Rs. 5,500 crore for all the eligible women of the state. Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.
This scheme helps in economic independence of the women across the state and continuous improvement in health and nutritional level of their dependent children. This will specially benefit those women who fall under economically weaker section of society. The government aims to uplift the social status of female citizens by providing them financial assistance.
