The State Government of West Bengal has taken up this initiative to launch WB e-District Portal for the citizens of their state. The aim of the Government to launch this portal is to make the State’s services available to the citizens of the state through a computerized system. The services can be received through Internet or by visiting any CSC (Common Service Centre) or a Kiosk. It is not necessary to visit the Government Offices for submitting the application, knowing the status or receiving certificate / licence etc.
