About WB e-District Portal

The State Government of West Bengal has taken up this initiative to launch WB e-District Portal for the citizens of their state. The aim of the Government to launch this portal is to make the State’s services available to the citizens of the state through a computerized system. The services can be received through Internet or by visiting any CSC (Common Service Centre) or a Kiosk. It is not necessary to visit the Government Offices for submitting the application, knowing the status or receiving certificate / licence etc.

This portal not only streamlines State’s Services but also promotes transparency, efficiency and employee satisfaction, ultimately improving governance in the region. There are many services available under this portal which range from issuing certificates, permits, licences, and land records.

• On homepage click on “Citizen Login: Click here for e-District 2.0” option.
• On another page click on “LOGIN/SIGN UP” option.
• Now click on “Register” button under “New User?” option.
• Enter the required details as asked in the form and click on “Register” button.
• Now, create your username and password.
• After submitting your credentials, you will be asked to generate an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP with the Captcha code and click on “Register” button.
• You have successfully registered as a user on the e-district portal.
