Telangana Runa Mafi Scheme

The government is aiming to adopt a farmer loan waiver of 2 lakh benefits on crops in Telangana, which might be implemented shortly to ease farmer’s financial strain on their crops. According to the rules, farmers who took out agricultural loans between 12 December 2018 and 9 December 2023 for a maximum of Rs 2 lakh are eligible for remission.

Aside from the six pledges made by Congress in the previous year’s assembly elections, one of the most significant undertakings was the forgiveness of farm loans. Due to the delay caused by the Lok Sabha elections, the administration will ensure that the agricultural loan waiver is implemented by August.
