Telangana Crop Loan Waiver 2nd Installment
The government is prepared to waive farmer’s loans totaling more than Rs.7 lakh crore in the second phase. The loan forgiveness program has been completed by the government in three payments. By August 2024, the Congress administration will cancel up to Rs. 2 lakh in debts for agricultural uses. A total of Rs. 6098.94 crore was disbursed under the agricultural loan waiver program, which benefited 11.50 lakh people by forgiving debts up to one lakh rupees in the first installment.
Due to technical issues, cash totaling Rs. 84.94 crore for 17,877 accounts have not yet been put into farmers accounts. The RBI has guaranteed that the technological problems will be resolved based on the details supplied by the affected farmers. Objective Of Telangana Crop Loan Waiver
The main objective of the scheme is to help farmers in Telangana state by waiving their outstanding debts. With the help of this scheme the Telangana state government will improve the social status and standard of living for all of the state’s financially unstable farmers. This scheme will help all farmers in the state of Telangana who have outstanding loans.
Telangana Crop Loan Waiver 1st Installment
The first installment of the loan waiver became operative on 18 July 2024. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has deposited the funds into the accounts of farmers who obtained loans under Rs.1.5 In the first round, approximately 11 lakh farmers received deposits totaling about six thousand crores of dollars into their accounts.
Loans up to two lakhs will be forgiven in two further payments it has been announced. 30 July 2024 is the distribution day of the Telangana Crop Loan Waiver 2nd Installment, which would forgive agricultural loans up to Rs.1.5 lakh. It has been announced that up to two lakhs will be waived for the third installment.
