Rythu Runa Mafi

The Telangana state government established the Rythu Runa Mafi 2024 to assist farmers in the state by forgiving outstanding loans. According to the Telangana state government, an overdue debt of up to Rs.2 lakh can be erased under the scheme.

Only permanent Telangana residents who are farmers by profession are eligible to profit from the Rythu Runa Mafi 2024. Mr Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana has pledged that all outstanding debts will be forgiven by the 15th of August under this scheme.

Objective Of Rythu Runa Mafi Status

The main objective of implementing the scheme is to assist Telangana farmers by waiving their outstanding loans. The scheme would improve the social standing and level of living of all financially insecure farmers in Telangana state.

• Only loans totaling up to Rs.2 lakh will be forgiven.
• The applicants must have taken the loan between 12 December 2018 and 13 December 2023.
