About Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Sri Himanta Biswa, the Government of Assam Statehas taken the initiative to introduce Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme. The Orunodoi Scheme has been launched on 2nd October 2020. Financial assistance will be provided to more than 24 lakh poor household across the state. The amount will be credited on the very first day of every month. The financial assistance will be credited directly to the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This scheme will help in purchasing medicine, pulses, sugar, fruits and vegetables. This scheme helps in economic independence of the women across the state and continuous improvement in health and nutritional level of their dependent children. This scheme will specially benefit those women who fall under economically weaker section of society. The government aims to uplift the social status of female citizens by providing them financial assistance.
