About Mulina Mofat Shikshan Yojana
Chief Minister of Maharashtra State Mr. Eknath Shinde has introduced Mulina Mofat Shikshan Yojana on 5th July 2024. The aim of the scheme is to encourage girl students to pursue higher education by providing free education. The state government has set the allocation budget of Rs. 2,000 Crore for the scheme. Under this scheme, about 2 lakh girls of the state will get benefit of free education.
This scheme will provide free education to the girls of poor and economically weaker families of the state. The priority will be given to the girls of OBC, EWS, SEBC category under this scheme. The scheme will help to encourage the female students to pursue their higher education and become independent on their own. Annual family income of the girl should be less than Rs. 8 Lakh to avail the benefit of the scheme.

- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Maharashtra State.
- Applicant should be a girl student.
- Annual family income of the girl should be less than Rs. 8 Lakh to avail the benefit of the scheme.
- The priority will be given to the girls of OBC, EWS, SEBC category under this scheme.
- Orphan daughters of the state are also eligible for the scheme.

As well as, the instructions has been given to the schools and colleges of the state. Soon the free admission process will start in all the higher educational institutions of the state. After the implementation of the scheme students can take admission in any school or college of the state to avail the benefit.
