The Government of Delhi keeps coming out with new schemes for the convenience of the residents of Delhi, this time the Delhi Transport Minister has launched Motor Vehicle Aggregator Scheme under which, over one lakh vehicles have registered under the Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme. About Motor Vehicle Aggregator Scheme
Transport & Environment Minister of Delhi Kailash Gahlot has announced that more than 1 lakh vehicles of 21 different cab aggregators, delivery service providers and e-commerce companies are now onboard the Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme. Cab aggregators, delivery service providers and e-commerce organizations have to register more than 25 vehicles in their fleet to obtain a license and it also sets a timeline for the electrification of their fleets. Under this scheme penalty will be applied ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per instance. The fleet of vehicles of these companies includes electric, petrol and CNG driven two, three and four wheelers. The biggest fleets belong to Smartshift Logistics with more than 50,000 vehicles, then more than 36,000 belongs to ANI Technologies, Zomato with more than 22,000 and Blink Commerce with more than 10,000.

- For four-wheeler (4W) passenger vehicles, the timeline for electrification is 5% in 6 months, 15% in one year, 25% in 2 years, 50% in 3 years, 75% in 4 years and 100% in 5 years.
- The electrification target for the 2W and 3W goods vehicles is 10% in six months, 25% in one year, 50% in 2 years, 75% in 3 years and 100% in 4 years.
