About Madhubabu Pension Yojana

Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department, Government of Odisha has taken the initiative to launch Madhubabu Pension Yojana. The aim of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to poor, elderly and disabled persons in the state. People of 60 years of age and above, the widows irrespective of age, persons affected by Hansen’s diseases/ Leprosy patient with visible signs of deformity irrespective of age, unmarried women over 30 years of age, persons with disabilities & AIDS patients are eligible to avail the benefit of the scheme.

The financial assistance provided to the beneficiaries will be crucial for their sustenance and basic needs. The pension is distributed on the 15th of every month, known as Jan Seva Diwas, and pension will be distributed in Rs. 100 denominations. This scheme ensure that the elderly, widows, and persons with disabilities can meet their essential expenses such as food, shelter, and healthcare.

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
  • The age of the applicant should be 60 years or above.
  • Applicant can be a widow irrespective of age.
  • Persons affected by Hansen’s diseases/ Leprosy patient with visible signs of deformity irrespective of age are eligible.
