This scheme aims at providing additional facilities to farmers to ease their burden. About Karnataka Raitha Shakti Scheme

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri Basavaraj Somappa Bommai has introduced Karnataka Raitha Shakti Scheme on 5th March, 2022 for the farmers to support them and boost their farming activities. The government has set the allocation budget of Rs. 500 Crore. Each farmer will get the diesel subsidy of Rs. 250 (per acre of land). The highest subsidy will be provided for the land up to 5 acres. The subsidy amount will be directly credited into the beneficiaries bank account in due time.

This scheme will encourage the farmers to use modern technologies and make their farms more productive and save money on fuel. The farmers who are registered on FRUITS portal will be able to avail the benefit of the scheme.

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
• Applicant must be a farmer by profession.
• Farmers must have their own land.
• Applicant must have a bank account.
• The farmers who are registered on FRUITS portal will be able to avail the benefit of the scheme.

Application Procedure For Karnataka Raitha Shakti Scheme

To apply for the Scheme, please follow the below mentioned steps:

• Visit the official website at fruits.karnataka.gov.in.

• If you are a new user, then you have to create an ID for the farmer’s registration under this portal to apply for the plan.
• On homepage click on “Citizen Login” button.
• On another page click on “Citizen Registration” option.
• Registration page will appear on your screen.
• Enter your Name as per Aadhaar and enter Aadhaar Number then select the box.
• Now click on “Submit” button.
• Now on another page you must enter information like your Aadhaar number, name in English, name in Kannada, gender, age, date of birth, identifier type, identifier name in Kannada, identifier name in English, mobile number and landline number.
• Enter the District, Taluk, Hobli, Village and Land Status in the place of residence detail.
• Now indicate caste, farmer type, specifically able and minority status in the additional details area.
• You should fill out the EPIC and ration card information in the identification section.
• Enter the landowner’s information and enter your account information.
• You should also enter the address proof information and upload proof of address.
• After that click on the “Submit” button to complete the process.
