About KALIA Yojana

Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Naveen Patnaik has taken an initiative to launch this KALIA Yojana which stands for Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation. Under this program the government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 2000 to all the selected farmers that will assist farmer’s cultivators, landless agriculture laborers and much more. This will improve the agriculture of the state. The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the selected farmer’s bank account. On March 11, 2024 KALIA Yojana Next Installment Date has been released farmers can view the details about their installment amount. Those farmers whose names appeared on the beneficiary list of the Odisha Kalia Yojana will be eligible for financial assistance from the government. Special benefits were also provided to farmers who did not possess land.

Objectives Of KALIA Yojana Next Installment Date

The objectives of the KALIA Yojana are as follows:

• The primary objective of launching Kalia Yojana is to provide financial assistance to all the selected farmers that will assist farmer’s cultivators, landless agriculture laborers and much more.
• The aim of the program is to helps farmers across Odisha State to get rid of poverty.
• This scheme aims to increase the living standard of the farmers, landless agricultural laborers and vulnerable agricultural household laborers in the state.
• This scheme aims to assist 92 percent of the state’s cultivators, as well as nearly all landless cultivators in need.

• Under this scheme, every small or landless farmer’s family is eligible to receive Rs.2,000/- in their respective bank accounts.
• The government will provide financial assistance that will assist farmer’s cultivators, landless agriculture laborers and more.
• The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected farmer’s bank account.
• The money given under the KALIA scheme can be utilized to purchase pesticides, seeds and fertilizers that aid in farming.

• The selected farmers will also get educational loans and other benefits under this Kalia Yojana.
• The facility of giving 0% interest loans up to INR 50,000 can be given to small and marginal farmers with no land.

Eligibility Criteria

According to the notice issued by the authorities, anyone who is a landless or a small or marginal farmer living in Odisha state is eligible to get the financial assistance under Kalia Yojana. Other than this, there are many more terms and conditions that must be fulfilled. Let’s have a look at them:

• Applicants should be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
• Applicant should be a farmer by profession.
• The farmers should have a valid ration card.
• A farmer or his family should not have any other occupation other than farming.
• A farmer or his family member should not be government employees.

• If the farmer is a taxpayer/MP or MLA, he will not be eligible.
• The farmer should not be a large or medium farmer with land.
