Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has made an announcement that the government will soon going to launch Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme. This scheme ensure the overall growth of the children who are between the age of 3 to 6 years. The state government is currently running 6,297 pre-primary sections in primary schools across the state which is serving about 60,000 children and 2,377 anganwadis that are co-located with these primary schools. Under this scheme, the state government will capture ECCE tutors for all 6,297 schools sticking to the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) norms. This scheme aims to provide quality early childhood education and ensuring the overall development and nurturing the young minds in Himachal Pradesh State. Chief Minister again stated that the State Government’s commitment in improving educational accessibility by ensuring quality education closer to student’s homes.
