The Madhya Pradesh State Open Education Board has launched Gramin Path Roshan Yojanato connect skill development with employment. Under this scheme, the training will be provided for setting up rooftop solar plants to the educated unemployed youth of the state between the age of 18 to 45 years. In each village of Shujalpur area of Shajapur district, one youth will be provided a loan from the bank to set up a 10 kW rooftop solar plant on the roof of their houses. About Gramin Path Roshan Yojana
The Madhya Pradesh State Open Education Board has launched Grameen Path Roshan Yojana. The aim of the scheme is to enhance skill development and employment opportunities. The youth will be provided free training for setting up rooftop solar plants to the educated unemployed youth of the state. The electricity produced from this solar plant is deposited in the power grid through On-Grid Net Solar Meter. With the deposited electricity, LED street lights are operated at night.
One such 10 kilowatt on-grid solar system has been installed in Tapka Basantpur village which produces 40 to 50 units of electricity per day and sends electricity to Central Region Power Distribution Company through the grid. 20 LED street lights have been installed in Tapka Basantpur village, which operate at night with the electricity generated by solar and sent to Central Region Power Distribution Company. The youth selected under the scheme will be provided training by Udyam Learning Foundation of Bengaluru. The State Open School Education Board has provided the amount of Rs. 1 Crore as the first installment to the Directorate of Public Instructions.
