Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana 2024

The Goa government introduced the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY), a health insurance program, on 30 May 2016 the day of Goa’s statehood. Those who have lived in the state for five years or longer will benefit from the new health insurance program. Residents of the state of Goa are benefiting from the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY), regardless of their financial situation.

Goa is the first state to offer universal health insurance to all of its citizens, regardless of their financial situation. A resident of Goa for five years or longer may apply for the program. The DDSSY is now accepting new registrations. Interested parties may apply online or in person at any authorized center by bringing the required documents.

Objective Of Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana

The main objective of this yojana is to promote medical services and assist people in accessing outstanding hospitalization, surgery and medical care through both public and private facilities.

Benefits Of Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana

• The yojana is a health insurance scheme that works without cash.
• Through this scheme, cashless medical services are provided.
• covered by the annual health coverage, up to a maximum of Rs. 4 lakh for families with four or more members and Rs. 2.5 lakh for households with three or fewer members.
• You may still benefit from your existing insurance and get better health care by paying a higher premium.
• The DDSSY will be beneficial to residents who have been in the state for five years or more.
• Members of DDSSY are entitled to free primary care and outpatient department services at the GMC and DHS medical institutes.

Eligibility Criteria

• A person can register for the DDSSY if they have lived in the state of Goa for five years or longer.
• The eligible person’s spouse, unmarried children, dependent parents and father-in-law (if the eligible family member is a female) are all considered to be part of their family. There is no dividing this family.
• DDSSY is ineligible for Central and State Government officials and their families who get government medical reimbursement.

• First you have to visit the Official Website of the yojana.

• The homepage will appear on your screen.
• Click on the register option.
• A new page will appear on your screen.

• Enter all the necessary details in the form.
• Click on the login button.
• You have to click on the services menu option.
• Click on the all services option.
• Click on the deen dayal swasthaya seva yojana button.
• Click on the renewal option.
• You have to enter your DDSS card number and search for member details.
• Click on the generate OTP option.
• Fill in the required field with (*) if there is an update.
• Click on the generate OTP option.
• Now upload all the required documents.
• Click on the proceed to pay option to pay fees.
• After payment, make a note of the Acknowledgment Number for tracking purposes.
• Communications will be sent to the registered mobile number.
