- To apply for the Scheme, the bride and groom must see the DA/WEDPS at the Secretariat thirty days after their wedding. Alternatively, they can visit the official website and complete the application on their own.
- The online and physical application forms will be sent to the WWDS/WEA.
- The WEA/WWDS will do field verification, e-KYC for the bride, bridegroom and bride’s mother, and submit the necessary documents.
- The application will be sent to MPDO/MC following WEA/WWDS certification.
- Every document and observation made by WEA/WWDS will be verified by the MPDO/MC. Following proper verification, the application will be forwarded to PD-DRDA by MPDO/MC.
- The application for 6-step validation will be forwarded by the PD-DRDA when the documents have been verified.
- Following the six-step validation process, the application form and the applicants will be forwarded to the district collector’s office.
- The accepted application will be sent to the appropriate State Welfare Corporations after being authorized by the District Collectors.
- The relevant Corporations will handle payment to the bride’s moms, if appropriate.
