About Bihar Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana
Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Nitish Kumar has taken the initiative to introduce the Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana. Department of Industries, Government of Bihar has launched the scheme. Under this scheme the state government will provide a loan of up to Rs. 10 Lakh to the unemployed youth of all categories who wants to do their own business/ self employment/ self business. This scheme provides 50% of the total project cost per unit to the young girls subject to a maximum of Rs. 5 Lakhs and interest-free loans which is to be repaid in seven years. And it provides 50% of the sanctioned amount subject to a maximum of Rs. 5 Lakhs as a grant or subsidy. Under this scheme financial assistance of Rs. 25,000 will be provided per unit for the training of beneficiaries after selection.

Under the Chief Minister’s Entrepreneur Scheme in Bihar, applications will commence from 1st July. Sandeep Poundrik, the Principal Secretary of the department, provided information on this matter, stating that the online application process for the Chief Minister’s Entrepreneur Scheme for 2024-25 will begin on 1st July. Candidates can apply online on the Industry Department’s portal from 1st to 31st July. The portal will remain open until 31st July. Interested citizens can apply online on the portal during this period with necessary documents. After applying, beneficiaries are selected under this scheme, following which applicants receive an amount of 10 lakh rupees to start their business. Application Procedure For Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana
To apply for this scheme, please follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website at udyami.bihar.gov.in.
- Click on the “Registration” button.
- Fill the application details such as name, mobile number and Aadhaar number.
- An OTP is sent to the applicant’s mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and click on the “Submit” button.
Note: The applicants are selected through a committee headed by the Principal Secretary of the Industrial Secretary Department. The approved amount is paid in a maximum of two instalments. However, the Yojana benefit will be given to only one family member.
