About Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana
Chief Minister of Odisha State Mr. Naveen Patnaik has launched Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana for the citizens of their state. Under this scheme the aim of the government is to provide universal health coverage, specially aiming at economically unsafe families across the state. The state government will cover the full cost of healthcare services which will be delivered to all patients in all State Government healthcare facilities starting from Sub Centre Level to District Head Quarter and Government Medical College Hospital and Blood Bank Level. Under this scheme, the state government will bear the cost of healthcare which is provided in enlisted private hospitals to more than 96.5 lakh economically unsafe families across the state. State government will provide annual healthcare coverage of up to Rs. 5 Lakh per family and additional of Rs. 5 Lakh for the women members of the family after exhaust of initial limit.

Eligibility Criteria
