Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme

The Telangana state Congress party government which was formed a few days ago, made a plea to the people of the state to vote for them and pledged to launch a number of programs once the party took power. One such program is the Telangana Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme, which the government intends to launch.

Under this scheme, inhabitants of the state who are very disadvantaged financially and are unable to purchase an area of property on which to build a house would receive financial help of Rs.05 lakh. Many families in the state of Telangana struggle to make ends meet, whether they are renting or living in slums. With the implementation of this scheme, these individuals will be able to live comfortably in their own homes.

Objective Of Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme

The main objective of the scheme is to give residents of the state who don’t have a place to live or build a house a plot of land worth 250 yards and financial assistance of Rs.5 lakhs.

Latest Update – 4.50 Lakh Homes will be Built 

Under This Scheme, the Indiramma Housing Scheme will soon build 4.50 lakh houses around the state at an estimated cost of ₹22,000 crore. Under the plan for the people experiencing homelessness, each Assembly section will be authorized to receive up to 3,500 houses.

Benefits Of the Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme

• Priority will be granted to all eligible applicants who used Praja Palana to submit their applications.
• It is recommended that officials ensure that benefits are only granted to eligible recipients.
• A provisional agreement to allot 3,500 homes to each constituency was reached at the meeting.
• The chief minister instructed the staff to create the guidelines and policies for the cash disbursement in stages.
• The CM also suggested that the engineers in charge of the several departments, which report to the District Collectors, give the engineering wings the responsibility to track the building of homes.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must live in Telangana state.
• The applicant must not currently own an area of land or a home.
• The applicant should be middle class.
• The applicant citizen’s family’s yearly income cannot be more than Rs.2 lakh.
• Residents are not eligible to receive benefits from the scheme if they have previously received assistance under any other housing scheme.
