About Haryana Free Bijli Yojana
Chief Minister of Haryana State Shri Nayab Saini has taken the initiative to launch Haryana Free Bijli Yojana for the welfare of their citizens. The aim of the scheme is to encourage the citizens of state to use solar energy as the primary source of energy. Under this scheme, the central government will provide a subsidy of Rs. 60,000 for installing solar panels and the Haryana state government will provide additional subsidy of Rs. 50,000 which will be total of Rs. 1,10,000. The scheme offers central financial assistance of Rs. 60,000/- to each household for 2 kW system. The annual family income of the applicant should be less than Rs. 3 Lakh to avail the benefit of the scheme.
This scheme will promote the use of solar energy which will ultimately reduce the environmental pollution and help in adopting clean energy sources.
