Latest Update – Ladki Bahin Yojana 1st Installment Date
The state administration will organize a important event called Grand Divya, attended by the Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers on August 17. The program will also feature the Guardian Minister from each district. During this event, the administration will decide whether to distribute the first installment to approximately 2.5 crore women. So far, one crore sixty lakh women have applied online, and of those, 1 crore 27 lakh applications have been approved.
About Ladki Bahin Yojana
Minister of Finance and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ajit Pawar presented the state budget 2024-25 in the assembly hall and announced the launch of Ladki BahinYojana. The aim of the scheme is to uplift the social status of female citizens by providing financial assistance.
Under this scheme, the Maharashtra Government will provide Rs. 1,500 per month to all the eligible women of the state. Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. The state government has set the allocation budget of Rs. 46,000 crore for all the eligible women of the state whose age is between 21 to 60 years old. The eligible beneficiaries under this scheme will be the women who are married, divorced and destitute and their annual family income should be less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh. Fadnavis stated that the applicants who will submit the forms by August 31 shall receive the installments for July and August next month.
