About Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana List
Minister of Finance and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ajit Pawar presented the state budget 2024-25 in the assembly hall and announced the launch of Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra Government will provide Rs. 1500 per month to all the eligible women of the state, along with this, the scheme also provide free education for girls. This scheme aims to uplift the social status of female citizens by providing financial assistance. Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.
The state government has set the allocation budget of Rs. 46,000 crore for all the eligible women of the state whose age is between 21 to 65 years old. Under this scheme fees of poor girls who falls under OBC and EWS category will be waived. Fees of about 2 lakh girls of the state will be waived, for which the state government will spend Rs. 2,000 Crore every month.
