Assam Amrit Brikshya Andolan 2024

The Amrit Brikshya Andolan Yojana was started by Assam’s chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in an attempt to provide financial assistance to the state’s citizens and promote conservation. With this scheme, the people of the state will be urged to plant trees. This is an effort that the entire state will support.

Residents of the state would get Rs 100 for each plant under this scheme at the time of planting, and the state government will give the recipients an additional Rs 200 per plant if the plants live for three years. As part of the Yojana, one crore seedlings will be planted around the state on September 17 in only two hours. This will be accomplished and Assam will become the first state in the country.

Update 22nd July – The campaign has implemented app-based registration and renewals, simplifying participation for a broader group of beneficiaries. Those interested can register via the official website (aba.assam.gov.in) or the ABA mobile app until July 31, 2024.

Important Dates :

• Registration and renewals will remain : open until July 31st.
• Seedling distribution: July 30th to August 12th.
• Submission of plantation photographs: August 1st to 15th.
